Yet another blog, by yet another person.
Random stuff about Python, Java, Scala, and other random stuff.
After reading people moan about the Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy movie being late and not being funny, I was not really expecting it to be funny. I have read the books and was wondering how they are going to put that on screen.
Well, they did manage to put that on screen and managed to be funny. That was quite a feat. Of course, I have only read the book; never listened to the radio shows nor watched the television series. Maybe, I will change my mind if I do.
The special effects was great, especially the Vogon fleet and Margrathea. Overall, it was fun.
Good old Jeeves, err, Stephen Fry's narration fit into the movie quite well.
However, it seemed to have a hurried feel, especially towards the end. Also, they altered Trillian a bit too much, nay, far too much.
