Yet another blog, by yet another person.
Random stuff about Python, Java, Scala, and other random stuff.
Woohoo! Finally! I am a certified code monkey.
Certifiable code monkey. At least, the certifiable and monkey parts are right.
Apart from the day wasted trying to find the test center, it was mostly a painless affair.
It was fortunate that I tried to make a trip to the test center a week before, just to make sure I could find my way.
The knee-jerk reaction to getting an address is to put it into Google maps and Mapquest (or pick any of the other). They all led me to a place that was right next to, but not quite reachable from the actual location. I drove around in snow and slush, I walked around in damp and cold, and felt like an absolute idiot.
Of course, the test center website had a directions page, but I had said, "Meh!".
When I came back home and checked the test center website for directions, I felt like an even bigger fool! It was a familiar landmark, one that I drove past, probably, hundreds of times (but in my defense, it was behind a bigger landmark, and did not have the number posted visibly).
Anyway, All's well that ends well.
